Getting Perfect "Instagram Brows" With ABH Pomade

I've seen a lot of people with fully done, solid looking brows that fade nicely towards the center, but I can never seem to achieve them. I was shade matched to caramel and my eyebrows aren't sparse or anything, but it always seems like I'm just putting some color on the skin beneath my brow hairs that doesn't look right. Should I use a pencil to line, then pomade to fill in? Should I carve them out with concealer every time?

What brush are you using to apply? The color may be too light for you, or it may be the brush. I use the ABH #20 brush to fill in my brows. Brush out brows with spooly, line underside and top first to have a shape to fill in (you can do this with the pomade and a good brush) then start filling in and keep using spooly to brush out. Leave front of brows untouched. Use lighter color shadow or brow powder on a clean brush and blend into the darker shade to get gradient effect.
