Cleaning your Beauty Blender

How do you guys get your beauty blenders clean? Also what soaps do you NOT recommend? i think i found a great way to do it, but I am make up illiterate and not sure if I'm doing a no no. btw i use hot water and stick them in a blender bottle, yea like the work out drink shakers you get with the little silver ball thing (take that out) and a little bit of a natural chemical free laundry detergent because ya know its soft on skin? I just shake it until the water gets dirty and keep replacing the water until its clear and honestly it was SUPER easy and SUPER fast and worked phenomenally. But I don't know, insight please!!!

I know this sounds strange but original Irish spring soap is something a few artists I know use. me, I'm a baby shampoo kinda girl lol. I tried Bronner bros that everyone swears by and it took way too long to get all the soap out. I think u have a good idea!!

like the bar soap? hmm that wouldn't work well in the blender bottle, but I'll give it a shot handwashing.
