What is the best anti aging moisturizer?

I am 43 and have very dry skin. Also have crows feet yay and enlarged pores. when I use foundation it looks cakey and horrible and I feel like I look 70. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hey, I have big pores too. Hate em, right!?

My big pores are mostly on my nose and the skin near my nose. I have found waterless cleansing is essential in minimizing them. I use balms or rinse off oils combined with masks like Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud or Drunk Elepnants Babyface.....pricey but magic ! The oil in the cleansers dissolves a lot of the gunk in the pore, and the mask reaches in and pulls out more stuff. The pores become smaller. Be very careful with these two masks, they are strong stuff.

As far as daily skin treatment , I use the Ole Hendrickson Sheer Transformation during the day, andSunday Riley Good Genes with a drop or two of rose hip oil (full of antioxidants) on each cheek at night.

If you just sample one thing, I would say get Good Genes and just plain buy a good rinse off cleansing oil. Consistent oil cleansing will not add to the skin's oil burden, but extract the bad stuff.

I had all the same issues your describing. even when I was young I had issues with flaking foundation. I exfoliated until the cows came home with marginal results. now I use retinol. I started for fine lines, and found it also got rid of the issues causing foundation flakiness. I also recommend it cosmetics cc cream foundation illumination or I've just tried Two Faced Born This Way Foundation and like them both.

Definitely use a serum , let it soak in and seal with a cream moisturizer. I use Algenist Liquid Collagen(a little pricy but amazing) and after a few minutes apply Josie Maran face butter. I love the smell and feel of all the Korean beauty water sleep moisturizers that are out there right now but they don't seem to be enough for my dry skin.

When my skin is super dry, I use the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whip Cream. It is super hydrating. I sprintz a little Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Mist first. (But hold your breath if you spray too much sometimes it can make me gag). It does help the moisturiser works itself in though. It helps hydrate the skin giving you better coverage. I also use the CoverFX Antiaging or Blurring primer before foundation. Creates an awesome barrier.
