cleansing oil and Niacinamide Qs

could anyone tell me more about their experience switching from lathering (soap-based) cleansers to cleansing oil? I have been reading and this may be the problem with my continued breakouts all along. I am very fair, I get breakouts mostly around cheeks, jawline and I have combination skin more oily in summer, drier in winter. Innisfree green tea hydrating cleansing oil is what I was thinking of buying..? please let me know what you think. I also would like to know if any of you have ever tried or had great results with Niacinamide (vitamin B3)? I just purchased Paula's Choice 20% concentrate Niacinamide serum off her website and I'm waiting for it in the mail. Sounds like it refines stretched, open pores from damage and orange-peel like skin texture and bumps.

Re: cleansing oil and Niacinamide Qs

@RitaFloren  I haven't tried that cleansing oil but double cleansing has been a game changer for me & made a huge difference with regards to break-outs. It really helps to cleanse your skin well, so it might be helpful for your problems. As for niacinamide, it is a great ingredient - I hope you have good results with it. 😉

Re: cleansing oil and Niacinamide Qs

Yes, I highly recommend giving double cleansing a try, @RitaFloren. A nice oil cleanser followed by a gentle cream or gel cleanser can work wonders in combating acne and helping keep pores clean.

Re: cleansing oil and Niacinamide Qs

@RitaFloren A compromise you might want to consider is using a non-foaming milk based cleanser which will not strip your skin of hydration but will not be as heavy as a cleansing oil.
