Paula’s Choice: The box says “limited edition” but I hope PC keeps this product in their catalog.Notes: SpoilerSKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Exfoliating Toner Pads - two-sided oversized pads (one side is smooth, the other is slightly and gently textured) soaked in Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Exfoliating Toner for Clear Skin. I tested one this morning: There’s almost no liquid leftover in the packet; it’s all in the thin pad, which is as big as my palm.On my skin, it felt exactly like the bottled BHA exfoliant. One pad was plenty enough to treat my face and shoulders. Any fans of the bottled exfoliant will love these pads for travel purposes. That’s how I intend to use the rest in this box.Skin Revealing Body Lotion 10% AHA - a restock, and another instance of me feeling weird about ordering just one small thing from a retailer. I actually haven’t used PC’s AHA lotion in quite a while, but I remember it working well on my chicken skin areas. Medik8 sale: Yeah, I only buy Medik8 when it’s on sale.Crystal Retinal 20 - a restock of the 0.2% retinaldehyde serum I’ve been using for a couple months. GWP: Deluxe Sample C-Tetra™ Advanced 20% Vitamin C Gel-Serum - I think this is a new(ish?) product. It was auto-added to cart, so I’ll check the ingredients and decide if/where to test it. Bloomingdales: The sole reason for this order……and the “hmm, that looks interesting” add-ons.Notes: SpoilerDiptyque Freesia Candle - @itsfi reminded me to order another of these. It’s hard to find candles (and EdPs for that matter) that truly highlight freesia, one of my favorite flowers to see and smell. Diptyque’s is still the best I’ve ever burned.Urang Mugwort Soothing Family Shampoo Bar - has a light earthy scent, probably from its combo of mugwort and olive oil. (There’s no added fragrance.) I haven’t washed my hair with it yet, but I washed my hands with it this morning to see if it leaves a waxy residue on my skin—the thing that makes me reject most shampoo bars. It lathers well: rich, but not big fluffy airy. As for the residue, well… it kinda reminded me of using jojoba oil on my hands and then applying CeraVe Moisturizing Cream over it. My hands weren’t begging for lotion or colloidal oats after washing with this shampoo bar, so I doubt it’ll dry or irritate my scalp. Now I’m excited to try it on my hair; I might’ve finally found the right travel-friendly shampoo bar for me.INCI list:SpoilerSodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, **Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Glycerin, Artemesia Capillaris Powder, Spinacia Oleracea (Spinach) Leaf Powder, Ecklonia Cava Extract, Betaine, Xanthan Gum, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Arginine, Allantoin**organic ingredient Urang Prestige Purple Shield Essence Toner - a hydrating antioxidant essence. I forgot to try it on my hands after washing with the shampoo bar and before using lotion. I did put a couple drops on the back of one moisturized hand: it’s scentless and very watery.INCI list:Spoiler**Platycodon Grandiflorum Flower/Leaf/Root/Stem Extract (81%), Pentylene Glycol, **Glycerin, **Achillea Millefolium Extract, **Pueraria Lobata Root Extract, **Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, **Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Pea Protein, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Butterfly Pea (Clitoria Ternatea) Flower Powder, Betaine, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Aqua, Caprylyl Glycol, Xanthan Gum**Organic ingredient Diptyque Freesia Candle - reminded me to order another of these. I probably shouldn’t have picked the shade that looks almost yellow gold on me, but it is pretty in person: a soft sheen, not glittery/shimmery, and a little bolder than the old highlighters. I like how silky it feels. The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Exfoliating Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL - a restock. Sometimes my facial skin prefers this over my usual Paula’s Choice 10% AHA exfoliant. In fact, the older I get, the more my skin wants lactic acid instead of glycolic acid. The former is gentler and seems to help hydrate my aging drying skin better than the latter. Not pictured: #Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA +++ - Ulta sent me Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 40 Sunscreen with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide instead. 🤦♀️I should’ve known I’d be sent the wrong product since this is a recent reformulation; I’ve had this issue with Ulta before. I’ll go exchange it in person this week. GWP: skincare sample pack, plus a hat & drink koozie I didn’t include in photos.
