FEBRUARY 2017: 25 Days of EYESHADOW CHALLENGE (plus, color sub-challenge)

For those that need a little guidance on getting started here is a color sub-challenge.  Let's go by day of the week for simplicity. Don't get stuck in a rut. Use different colors each time from this Chart.

Mon: 1st row

-creams, browns, burgundy

-violets and darker pinks

Tue: 2nd row

-creams, copper, golds, taupe

-pastel pinks, bright pinks, golden peach

Wed: 3rd row

-grays, taupe, silver, white, black

-sienna, yellow, soft peach, bright orange

Thu: 4th row

-all blues

-creams, peachy nudes, mossy greens

Fri: 5th row 

-all greens, aquamarines

-ROY G BIV 

What: 25 days of daily eyeshadow Show & Tell.

-Wear a different eyeshadow(s) for 25 days.
-Post photos of eye look, eyeshadows or swatches.

-Describe the product. Not only are you shopping your own collection but also providing inspiration to others!

 Love this eye look! I am a little (just a little) over my gold eyeshadow obsession and have moved on to KVD Tinsel eyeshadow.

Natural eye look! Smudge, Dab, Rub, Smoked....100x + primer + 6 colors + 5 brushes.

I love naked 2, it's such a perfect neutral! Gorgeous flowers, it's such a nice mix of colors!

My random generator chose 293+ 287

 The bottom color is 287 which is the first color in the Covergirl #235 Quad.

The top color is the 3rd color in the Maybelline 04 Quad. The Maybelline quad was my favorite set of eyeshadow for the longest time. Before I discovered Sephora lol.

@Samtian - What will you do if two colors come up that don't go together?  Try again?

BTW, I thought that was my arm and nearly had a heart attack (don't ask)!

@Titian06 I will use them. My fate is up to the generator. In the winter time if I'm not working I very rarely leave the house so it's all good. If I tried again I risk not using colors I never use.

With my luck I'd probably draw colors that never work together and/or aren't work/school appropriate.

I'll give this challenge a try! Hopefully I'll get better at trying new looks and using the excessive amount of shadow I buy. Seriously, it's my fav beauty item to collect.

Starting out with a new love that I have used a lot so far, Chanel Codes Subtils (278) Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow Quad and Noir Petrole. I particularly love the copper bronze color with the pink. Usually I'm not fond of an all shimmer quad, but this one works for me I think because it has a range of light to deep tones.

Ugh... Eye photos are hard!!
