The Summer Lippie Challenge!

It’s the first day of summer! I don’t know about you all, but this is one of my favorite seasons of all time. Not just because school’s out, but I feel inspired to be more carefree with my beauty routine and tend to reach for my summery lip products. Knowing how much everyone here loves everything lip and hearing how much fun you all had last year with summer lips, we’re starting the Summer Lippie Challenge TODAY! Show us your pics, swatches, or hauls and don’t forget to share your thoughts.

Oh @sprocketta, that’s so sweet of you to say! Curly hair is very temperamental. I can never predict how it’s going to turn out on any given day. I probably avoid the selfies on bad hair days. Lol!

@tsavorite Thank you! I am a little afraid to wear browns, but this one is okay. I love the Comfort Matte formula though, that could be why!

My favorite color to accent medium or dark olive green is a warm red, like a red scarf. 

I wonder if that means a warm red shade of lipstick would go well with olive green?

@tsavorite Oh yes! Warm reds and burnt oranges are great with olive green. Even dark burgundies and navy blues. You could wear any of those lip colors (expect maybe the blue if you’re not in to that sort of thing...). Here are a few of my clothing items with those color palettes. Sorry they aren’t in spoilers, it’s not working from my phone!

Plaid boyfriend shirt.

A scarf.

A bomber jacket.

@Buootiful Hm, I don’t own any military style boots! All of my boots either have a heel or are ankle boots. Military boots with it would be an interesting mix of edgy and feminine though!
