The Pretty Magical Challenge

Calling all merpeople and unicorns! We’re back with another challenge and I think you all will have a lot of fun with this one because it’s all about shimmer and sparkle! I know we all have a decent collection of products that shimmer, shine and shift in the sun so let’s show them off, why don’t we!

From glittery face masks and manicures to metallic eyeshadow and holographic highlight, the goal is to shine every day of this challenge. Let’s have some fun with this and show off our sparkle.

There aren’t any rules to what qualifies a look as “magical,” any amount of shimmer will do! The point is to remember to go for that highlight, add that glitter to your inner corners or rock that lip topper just because. Feel free to post your selfie, swatches, product spill or just talk about what you’re wearing. I am going to be popping in with my looks everyday, I can’t wait to see your looks and to hear about your favorite products.

@ElleElleG @Susubee @PrettyPaint There’s a story here!!!!!! I pulled out my old UD Vice palette and saw this color and flipped my lid (lol). I tried putting it on with a brush first. That soft muted navy you see in the crease is THE SAME COLOR applied with a dry brush. I was so annoyed and frustrated that I couldn’t deal with it and almost threw the entire thing in the trash. Then I remembered something I read somewhere about more color saturation using your finger so THAT is how I got that stunning color!

This is from the other day.  The look was based around MAC lipstick in Soft Hint. It’s subtle yet oh so shiney!!!!!

Icy blue with subtle pink reflects.

 Thanks, This one is a little tricky to wear.  I originally bought it to be a lip topper but so long as I just wear a thin layer it’s good for everyday use:) If you try to make it more opaque on your lips it looks patchy.  @ElleElleG

Hey, red lipstick is classic and can hold its own in any situation;).  This thread is pretty inspiring.   Soft Hint is great as a highlight over a red lip (but I like sparkles on everything) The contrast of icy blue glitter on red is so pretty!  @Anonymous

I wouldn't mind some glitter also. So I apply my red lipstick and then how do I apply the Icy blue glitter over it ?  Just like the red lipstick or differently ? Thanks for the tip.

I'm so behind in sharing looks, when I remember to take photos in the first place.  Here's one I did a few days ago using the Kat Von D Saint and Sinner palette. 

Cathedral was so difficult to capture on camera, trust me it's way more stunning in person.
