The March Favorites Thread 2019

Happy Spring! I am happy we’re starting to see a little sunshine here in SF so we can bring out our bright makeup and flower prints. We loved learning about your February favorite products so we’re going to continue again for the month of March! This thread is a place for everyone to share and discuss the products they reached for the most in March and were most impressed by.

Here are my March Favorite products:

  • Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist 2.53 oz/ 75 mL
  • SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask
  • DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni™ Retinol Cream
  • GIORGIO ARMANI BEAUTY - Luminous Silk Foundation
  • PAT MCGRATH LABS - LUST: Lip Gloss - Gold Allure
  • PAT MCGRATH LABS - Mothership II Eyeshadow Palette – Sublime

Which products were your March faves? Show & please tell!

Re: The March Favorites Thread

I love that Bite Multi stick and have it in a mini. Id probably purchase more to use for lipstick rather than an amouse bouche lipstick 🙂 @itsfi

Re: The March Favorites Thread

The BITE multi-stick is great @Buootiful! 💖 I’m kicking myself for not reaching for it earlier.

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@itsfi So many things here that I'm waiting patiently to get my hands on!  I have the 'beachy' version of the shower gel on my list, have you tried both scents? Glad to hear that the Milk mask has been a love as well!

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@missjeanie, the beachy scented shower jelly is the next one on my list; I’m planning on getting it during the sale. 😃 The Milk brightening mask is a nice one - love how portable the packaging is as well. 👍🏼

Re: The March Favorites Thread

I think they'll both be on my list for the sale @itsfi !

Re: The March Favorites Thread

Ouuuuh I've been wanting to try that Sephora Collection shower jelly! I'm so glad you like it, thank you for sharing 🙂

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@BrendaBT @LexBT  the Sephora Collection shower jelly is worth trying. I’ve repurchased this pink one and plan to pick up the other one during the sale.

Re: The March Favorites Thread

Same!!! Okay, may have to try it now.

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@itsfi I ended up buying that beauty blender as well, but have not used it yet. Have you used yours? Does the color bleed or wash out?

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@skcfan, there’s just the slightest color that comes out of the beautyblender when I initially washed it. I typically wash my beautyblenders two or three times before using it. I didn’t experience any color bleeding afterwards.

Re: The March Favorites Thread

It's that time of year when I start getting terrible tan lines, and I'm loving my latest Sephora purchase, ST. TROPEZ TANNING ESSENTIALS - Gradual Tan Everyday Tinted Body Lotion since after a few uses, my legs are now almost the same color as my arms. It's super easy to use, especially with the self tanning mitt.

The change to warmer temperatures always makes my combination skin more oily, but PETER THOMAS ROTH - 3% Glycolic Solutions Cleanser and BOSCIA - Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment keep my skin balanced.

I've also been curious about CBD beauty products, and I love the herbal, minty MILK MAKEUP - KUSH Lip Balm.

I've been interested in checking out more clean products, and since I was needing a new eye cream, I got YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Peptide Eye Cream which pretty much has the same ingredients in my favorite green smoothies--spinach and kale. It's a bit thicker than I'm used to, but I like using this at night.

Also loving HERBIVORE - Jade Facial Roller

Finally, I got my first Perk Facial at Sephora, which I loved. I try to get to a spa for a facial every 6-8 weeks, and now I may alternate Perk Facials with my spa facials. After all, you can't beat free with $75 purchase, even though it's a little weird getting a facial in the middle of a Sephora store.

I don't think I made a single makeup purchase during the month, just skincare. But I do really like my little TOM FORD - Lip Color - Casablanca GWP. And my most used lipstick this month is still last month's favorite purchase, Charlotte Tilbury's '90s-inspired limited edition lipstick in Super Model.

Re: The March Favorites Thread

So happy you got a Perk Facial @txcatx! I got one late last year and loved it. I've been meaning to get another one!

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@txcatx I just found out the Milk lip balm comes in colours now!  I'm very excited to try some out!  Thanks for the great recomendation!

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@txcatx Tom Ford Casablanca is one of my favorite shades and formulas of all time! 😄

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@BrendaBT How do you prefer to use the Watermelon Glow mist? I have it in my cart in preparation for the spring sale, but I'm having a hard time predicting how I'll incorporate it into my routine.

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@tastelikewater I have similar products and I find they do a nice job of prepping my skin for more skincare, so I use it after cleansing and before a mask or toner. I’m noticing my moisturizers absorb better! Watermelon is also supposed to help control oil and minimize pores (jury is still out on that one, but I do feel less oily/greasy after all my moisturizers have absorbed so maybe there’s something to it🤔)

Re: The March Favorites Thread

Thanks @cianni ! I sprayed the mist in-store and it smells incredible, but that can't be my only reason for buying it 😄 I'm glad to know that it's such a versatile product.

Re: The March Favorites Thread

I tried it at the store and loved it!! Im getting it at the sale as well to put in my bag for the summer 🙂

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@tastelikewater I absolutely love the smell, and the mist is very light and refreshing. I was hesitant to try it at first because says it gives your skin a glowing radiance, I have oily skin so I was scared it would make me look too dewy, but after reading more about it and trying it on it actually gives me a nice natural look. I've been using it everyday after I put my makeup on in the morning and after 6-7 hours my makeup still looks good and not melting off my face like it usually does. I also like using it without makeup just to refresh my skin throughout the day. 🙂

Re: The March Favorites Thread

@BrendaBT That sounds wonderful, thanks!

Re: The March Favorites Thread

Can't believe it's time for March Faves already!

I have still been totally obsessed with the new NATASHA DENONA - Bloom Blush & Glow PaletteIt's the prettiest colors and the cream blush gives the best flush! If anyone has suggestions for cream blushes with a similar formula I am all ears!!!!

Have also been loving Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist 2.53 oz/ 75 mL

smells amazing and I love the mister on this - doesn't aggressively spray or drench you
