Monthly Favorites: December 2021 Edition!

‘Tis the season… to pay tribute to our December beauty favorites! Earlier this month, while shopping for gifts for others (thanks in part to all the great recs from our Community Ambassador Gift Guide for the 2021 Holiday Season), the inevitable happened: some extra items for me managed to sneak into my basket. I mean, I have to know if I like it before I can confidently gift something to someone else, right? We’ll call it research! In any case, I’ve acquired some new-to-me beauty staples that collectively carried me through my many December moods – whether I stayed home and couched it with some self-care, or actually went out in my glitzy holiday glam, complete with a highlight you can see from space. 🌌

Here are the products I’ve turned to the most this month:

@AlexBT I bought the OUAI Detox Shampoo but haven't even used it yet!  I was waiting until I finished my IGK First Class Detoxifying Charcoal Shampoo 8 oz/ 236 mL (which I literally finished last week) so I'm excited to finally try the one from Ouai.  I've heard such good things about it!

@CookieGirl1 Haha yes I had this shampoo unopened in my stash for awhile too and was waiting until I finished my Olaplex before breaking into it. I also love IGK!

@AlexBT The OUAI Detox Shampoo is so nice. A little goes a long way. I am excited to try the Kiehl's Since 1851 Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro-Dermabrasion 2.5 oz/ 75 mL and the Tatcha Camellia Gold Spun Lip Balm 0.21 oz/ 6 g . I am loving the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Happy

The color on the Rare Beauty blushes are great @Mellmars1185. 😍 I find a little goes a long way and there's soooo much product!

@itsfi  Thank you! I agree! I have the shades happy and joy. I think purchased one of the new shades?? I was looking for a more natural colour. There are so many to choose from!

@Mellmars1185 YES, I am a fan of any shampoo that builds up a good lather without having to use half the dang bottle. 😂 I have a lot of hair! And totally agree on the Rare liquid blushes. I also recently tried the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner Black but I lost it already(?!?!) so it didn't make the pic 😞

I am sharing my honest and authentic opinion, as a Sephora Beauty Insider Community Ambassador.  Just the bottle alone is a masterpiece.  This will make any vanity look luxe in an instant with the jaw dropping glass design.  This scent is so unique and sophisticated yet sensual.  I thought it would be something I wouldn’t wear at first spray but as it adjusted to my body chemistry, I started to like it more.  If you do not like strong smelling perfumes or the slight scent of alcohol this will probably not be the scent for you.  It can be overpowering if you have a sensitive nose.  This would be a definite purchase me and am glad I had a chance to test it out.  Now I am interested in trying out other scents from this brand.
