Monthly Faves: August 2025!

Happy August, BIC! Since I’ve spent most of my summer keeping my beauty routine pretty low-maintenance, I feel like I’m going back to school trying to re-learn how to do liquid eyeliner and powder bronzer again. 😅 Now that we’ve been going back to the office after a relaxing “work-from-anywhere July,” it feels kind of comforting sinking back into my morning get-ready routine (paired with a big cup of coffee, of course) and adding some finishing makeup touches I might not have spent the same time on when dialing in from home. 😇

Aaah these are bright and beautiful picks for your August loves @itsfi I'm going to make a point of sniff testing this version of Born in Roma in store, a long wear time is such a plus. 😀

@CynthieLu, The Valentino Donna Born in Roma series have been good ones, each with their own scent profiles. This one has a more lemon and rose leaning, whereas Green Stravaganza has those smokier black tea notes.

I have been actually really interested in the Sephora Collection Eyeliner's @CorgiMommy they look so good! I see them popping up all over the place.

Since we're transitioning into the Fall (kinda? The weather seems to know it sometimes). I thought the theme of orientation made sense

The class schedule: Supergoop! 100% Mineral (Re)setting Powder Face Sunscreen SPF 35 , it's a mainstay honestly.  Gives a little SPF, tells me I need to add a little more.  It keeps me on check. 

The Roommate with the good family/vibes: The Danessa Colorfix Shadow sticks, which I forever move to call them MAGICSTIX.  Need a highlighter ✅.  Eyeshadow topper ✅. Gloss topper ✅ 

The meal plan: Because it eats.  Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Fenty Treatz Hydrating + Strengthening Lip Oil 

The AP class you're not sure about, but it looks good on your transcript, but you're going to ace it Danessa Myricks Beauty Colorfix - Multi-Use Eye, Cheek & Lip Waterproof Liquid Pigment Chocolate (as a lip product)
