Halloween Tutorials are Here: Get the Step-by-Step Looks that Beauty Director Myiesha Created for Community!

Happy almost-Halloween, BIC! Remember when we polled you earlier this month for ideas on which Halloween looks you wanted to see our Beauty Directors create? Well, we asked, you answered, and for the first time ever, we had @MyieshaBD create two different looks on our very own Community members! Yes, @ZombieMetroAnt and @Buootiful were brave enough to agree to a blind Halloween makeover (muahahaha), and the results were killer. Let's check out the step-by-steps for the two looks that Myiesha created just for you!

Look #1: What a magical coincidence that @Buootiful was already thinking of being a FAIRY for Halloween! Thanks for the inspo, @Cyncynn!

Step 1: After applying your base, drape and sculpt with focus color (Myiesha chose hot pink for this look, using MAKE UP FOR EVER Flash Color Palette Multi-use Cream Color Palette Artistic). Then finish with lots of pink highlighter, like ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS - Dream Glow Kit.

Step 2: Add desired eye look using shimmery shades that are similar your contour focus color (Myiesha used HUDA BEAUTY - Neon Obsessions Palette).

Step 3: Add a colorful brow in a color that pops -- try MAKE UP FOR EVER - Artist Color Pencil: Eye, Lip & Brow Pencil - 208 Unlimited Blue.

Step 4: Finish with a sparkly lip gloss, like PAT McGRATH LABS LUST: Lip Gloss Aliengelic, and apply crystals using lash glue.

Dreamy, ethereal, whimsical. @Buootiful's amazing posing skills not included!

Look #2: You know we couldn't resist turning @ZombieMetroAnt into a ZOMBIE! Thanks for submitting your idea, @meganlisa!

Step 1: Start by choosing a base a few shades lighter to wash out complexion. Contour heavily with taupe shades (avoid warm shades in order to look less... alive). Myiesha used KVD Beauty Shade + Light Refillable Powder Face Contour Palette here.

Step 2: Rim eyes heavily in deep red, mossy green, and purple shades for that just-back-from-the-dead look (Myiesha used SEPHORA COLLECTION - Sephora PRO Smokey Jewels Palette shades Storm, Canvas, Emerald, Aquamarine, and Maca). Apply liner in red or burgundy (try Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Alkaline). Then top with metallic cream eye pigment very heavily so it cracks - Myiesha used MILK MAKEUP - Eye Pigment - Jam Room.

Step 3: Finish the look by lightly blending a creamy burgundy lipstick onto lip line with fluffy crease brush, then blot a nude/taupe lipstick onto lips. Myiesha used a combo of SEPHORA COLLECTION #LIPSTORIES Lipstick 29 Malt Shake and Love Love.

Yikes. @ZombieMetroAnt, are you feeling okay? You look hungry… for brains!

OMG, these tutorials are awesome! You did such a fantastic job documenting and getting the best poses out of us!!  @AlexBT  Thank you for being patient with us too! Who knew pointing downwards and talking simultaneously  could be so hard, lol!!! It was a great learning experience being in front of the camera 🙂 I loved the look, I didn't want to take it off that night!

@MyieshaBD  Your extreme talent to come up with these looks was so exciting to witness!! It was such a  privilege to meet you AND hang with you 🙂    I'm so sorry I tried to walk away with the fairy headdress, I couldn't resist, lol!

Awww, thank you ! <3<3<3 . It was great being a model for the day. LOL, yassss!  @AlexBT  I want to wear more lashes, just so I don't have to put mascara on. 🙂 Although, I don't think the lash glue agreed with me 😞 It looks so easy when Myiesha did it but knowing me, it will be a  struggle! 🙂
