Collaboration Ideas Wanted!

Hello BIC,

Sephora Collection team is scouting their next great collaboration partner – and we want to hear from YOU!

Sephora Collection partners with other brands to co-create products that are new, unique and exciting. In the past, we have done broad range collaborations with high-fashion brands like Moschino and Mara Hoffman to childhood favorites like Minnie Mouse. We are now looking for a new partner to collaborate with!

Collaboration partners can be anything from brands and other retailers to influencers and celebrities. Ideal partners bring a fresh and creative point of view that emotionally resonates with our audience.

If you have an idea on who Sephora Collection should collaborate, post your idea in the comments!! We’d love to hear what you think.

This thread will close on October 11^th, so please do not hesitate! If your idea is chosen, we will reach out to you with next steps on how to bring it to life.

@PrettyPaint I mean like work with them as in I use them, precision of language late at night isn't my strong suit, I work in pencil, pen, watercolors, and every now and again acrylics. Mostly it's in the pursuit of my main media, which is tattoo pigments. ☺️

@Tamara76 Yeah, I think prismacolor pencils and are one of the things that first got me interested in makeup in terms of blending colors, etc.

@PrettyPaint  I LOVE the idea of Starbucks or PrismaCOlor! Also today I was thinking if they did a mermaid line, part of proceeds going to 40 Ocean or Oceana to help CLEAN UP the oceans considering all our shipping creating a huge carbon footprint. Giving back would be nice!!

@mermadelove I think that’s a fantastic idea! I would love it if some of the proceeds could be used to help an advocacy organization.

@PrettyPaint I feel like with how many natural products that are used in my favorite Sephora products, there should be a portion of proceeds that goes back to replenishing those resources, but really ANY charity would make me happy! Maybe Sephora could have something like Amazon SMile does where a portion of what you buy would be donated to your favorite charity! How awesme would THAT be>??? Then they wouldn't have to pick just one charity to support and everyone benefits! (I  love win/win situations).

That would be great @mermadelove! I don’t logistically know how difficult it would be, but that would be awesome if we could select from a list of eligible organizations.

I think it would be neat to see a collab with famous pieces of art.... Imagine a palette inspired by The Starry Night complete with art workand colors pulled from the painting. Lipsticks inspired by Andy Warhol’s pop art. Makeup brushes with various art on the handle. You could do multiple artists or just one. Personally, I think you could do a whole collection based on The Starry Night alone.
