Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Submission(s) that does not comply with these Submission Restrictions or that Sponsor otherwise deems to be inappropriate in its sole discretion. In the event of disqualification, the Submission(s) will not be entered into the Sweepstakes.

By uploading a Submission(s), each entrant understands and agrees that the entrant’s Submission(s) may be accessible for viewing by the general public and any such posting will be deemed made at the direction of the entrant within the meaning of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (US) and the Communications Decency Act (US). Entrants are permitted to enter the Sweepstakes up to three (3) times during the Sweepstakes Period, provided that each entry must contain a new Submission. Use of multiple email addresses/accounts to enter more than the permitted number of entries is prohibited. There may be only one (1) named entrant for each Submission, regardless of the number of persons who may have contributed to the creation of the Submission.

In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Sephora registered account of the entry, which the entrant will have the obligation to establish. Entries generated by a script, computer programs, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries, or entries not timely received due to telephone failures, Internet or website failures and disruptions, and ISP problems. Incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry. All eligible entries carry an equal chance of winning.

Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins on June 27, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on June 30, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. PT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2019.
Selection of Winners: Potential winners will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor on July 1, 2019 and will be notified by email. Potential winners will be required to provide Sponsor with their full name, mailing address, telephone number and/or date of birth, and will also be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit/declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release. Canadian potential winners must also correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question in the manner specified by the Sponsor, and may be required to complete additional tax forms as requested by Sponsor. For US residents, the winner must supply Sponsor with his/her social security number for tax purposes, and complete a W9 form. A winner’s prize will be forfeited upon the occurrence of any of the following: (i) the potential winner fails to confirm eligibility and acceptance of the prize and return any required documents within three (3) days of notification, (ii) the return of a prize or prize notification to Sponsor as non-deliverable; (iii) if the potential winner is Canadian, failure to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question in the manner specified by the Sponsor; or (iv) the determination by Sponsor that winner is ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. If a potential winner forfeits a prize or is deemed ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing from all remaining eligible entries until a winner is determined. If any alternate similarly forfeits the prize, Sponsor will use a reasonable number of attempts, in its discretion, to award the prize to another alternate but if it is unable to do so, the prize will be finally forfeited and Sponsor shall have no further obligation to award the prize. All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding on all entrants. Limit one prize per person/household. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Prizes: Five (5) grand prize winners will each be awarded a grand prize (“Prize”) with an approximate prize value of US $1,000. Each Prize consists of two (2) VIP tickets to attend Session 1 of the SEPHORiA: House of Beauty event, to be held at The Shrine, in Los Angeles, California on September 7, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. PT to 2:00 p.m. PT (the “Event”) and $300 (in the form of a VISA gift card or other form as Sponsor may determine in its sole discretion) which may be used by winner towards the cost of travel or otherwise as winner determines. The Prize does not include airfare, travel, accommodations or any other costs or expenses to attend the Event. Prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable, cannot be combined with any other special offer or promotion and must be accepted as awarded. SEPHORiA tickets cannot be transferred, resold, upgraded or exchanged under any circumstances. Sponsor is not responsible for replacing a SEPHORiA ticket prize if lost, stolen, mutilated or is otherwise rendered unusable due to any act or omission of prize winner or any party other than Sponsor. Use of SEPHORiA ticket and attendance at SEPHORiA is subject to the terms and conditions of the SEPHORiA event (see SEPHORiA.com for additional details and restrictions). Prizes may not be exchanged for cash value or substituted, except that Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute with either the cash value of a prize, or a prize or prizes of equal or greater value. Prizes are provided “AS-IS” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, and sponsor hereby disclaims all such warranties, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Applicable federal, provincial, state, or local taxes and any other costs or expenses associated with the prizes or the use or redemption thereof is the sole responsibility of the winner. The prizes will be awarded, and will be delivered to the confirmed winners to a valid U.S. or Canadian address shortly before the Event.

For my third and final entry, I will tell you guys who I would really ask; my mom.

She is retired and living on Vancouver Island so I think she would be available to come down with me in September and would probably have the time of her life. She has always loved beauty and I learned a lot about makeup and skincare from her over the years. She sacrificed a lot to raise me and my siblings, and this would be a nice chance to try to repay her in some small way. I think we would have a real chance to reconnect and bond during the trip - and she seriously loves free things. ^_^

I think if I had to choose someone in my real life to go with, I would probably ask my auntie. She is a very hardworking emergency room nurse. She is also a vegan, so sometimes she has a hard time finding beauty products that are ethical and to her taste. I think taking her to this event would be a real treat for her, since she might be able to score some hard-to-find vegan products which aren't available to the general public. It would also be a nice chance for her to relax and take care of herself a little, since she spends so much time taking care of others.

If I could go to Sephoria with ANYBODY I think I would have to choose the Queen B herself, Beyoncé. Why? Well, I think it's pretty obvious that if I went with Beyoncé we'd be travelling in style. Also, she might drop some wisdom on me about beauty or just about life. She's an amazingly talented and inspiring woman. After her Coachella performance last year, I think she might appreciate the opportunity to treat her self a little after working so hard to prepare for it. After we tour the beauty swag-fest that is Sephoria, Beyoncé might even be so happy she'll sing a private concert for me in the limo ride home.

I would take Marina and Mathysyn, my step daughters, to the show? Why? Because we would have a “Girl Day” just to spend time together. We would got to Sephora where they spent hours bringing fragrances for me to smell, they’d pick out lip colors for me, later we’d have lunch then shoe shopping. Sephora was always first, ya gotta have priorities. Our first trip to Sephora was when they were 5 yrs old. I loved every one

Lastly, for my third guest, I would invite my friend Paloma. She is a very hardworking mom with twins and doesn’t really get to treat herself often. I would love to have the opportunity to take her on a trip so that she could getaway and really enjoy herself.
