Happy anniversary to the Beauty Insider Community!! Since our 2010 launch, we have had ten fabulous years of beauty advice, Community friendships, and llama love. Whether you have recently joined in on the BIC fun or have been around since the Community was called “BeautyTalk,” we want you to come celebrate with us!  🎉

We’re sure you’re all aware that since 2010, the beauty world has seen some pretty major changes. Trends have certainly come and gone, but isn’t that what makes beauty so exciting? As a part of our ten-year anniversary party, we are challenging you to reflect on beauty trends from the past decade. Whether they were highlights you personally loved or fads you should have avoided at all costs, we want you to share your beauty throwbacks. Each week, we’re giving you a theme to follow to help inspire you - BONUS POINTS if you have old photos of you rocking memorable trends, or if you incorporate them into a routine today!

@TeamBIC congratulations on 10 years!!!! Well the picture below represents all weeks! Lol I used way too much black eyeliner; just foundation and powder (no blush; no contour; no highlight; sometimes no concealer; no brows done) and sometimes a lipstick. Mascara was sometimes optional lol 😂Glad glad glad that’s behind me

Those were definitely the heavy eyeliner days @idanyd Do you think we'll look back 10 years from now and say "Those were definitely the heavy highlighter Days" I won't regret it at all, I love my highlighters ❣❣❣

Yes! I agree with you!! @Luvstravel  I remember all I used was a black eyeliner pencil. that was it! Do not regret it but wished I played with more color and eyeshadows.  I used to be so scared of the color blue that I never used it; I thought pink and reds were only for lips never for eyes and if I wanted to go bold I used to slap one color eyeshadow all over the eyelid all the way up to my brows lol 😅  And on my face the only thing I used was foundation and powder that was it!! I never used contour or highlighter and I thought that by using blush I looked like the Annabelle doll from the Conjuring movie.  And no concealer whatsoever lol

I wish my brows were that nice without product!

Thank you so much! @RAWRitsRED I used to have very fluffy hairy brows, and I used to pluck them out weekly. That was a good few years ago.  Now they are a bit less trimmed and I use products nowadays.
