makeup looks and pre t

hey! uh so im a pre t trans ftm guy. I love doing makeup and I was wondering if I could get any tips on how to look more masc while wearing it. im always afraid when wearing makeup that I look to feminine and that usually leads to me having a dyspohoric breakdown- but I was wondering if there are any tips that could help me ease my worries and look super swag at the same time

contouring is one way
Highlight and contouring is different for us, i do a fine line of contour on my jawline to add a bit of definition, blend down towards the neck

search "masculine contour" then to further define that jaw and make it look bigger you can then use a highlight on the lower cheek-jawline

The other thing is blend it and blend it more
as not noticeable as possible helps, obvious makeup is inherently feminine to most people so subtle is a key

Brows can be neat, but not perfect.
Lots of little things like that help

Thank you for your kind words Not at all presumptuous, I’m flattered. I like chatting about makeup and I am fortunate to have a supportive and encouraging girlfriend as well as the people I get to meet here. I feel like the men that do post here are the brave ones owning that they use makeup. And it matters to those that are nervous about it. There is safety in numbers and if it helps, I’m in. I may not define myself as trans, but I do understand and support people who choose to express themselves.
