Tips on five o clock shadow...

So, I think many of us have this problem, or at least when first learning.

My current routine is twice a day, morning after waking and late afternoon. (which i gotta do some hair removal. I start with concealer stick under eyes, then i make a heart shape where the facial hair resides. Then blend. I then apply liquid foundation. Afterwards Eye shadow, Eyeliner, then mascara. (currently using covergirl for most... the eyeshadow is L.A. Colors. Though i want to convert to the products here. (this app is amazing by the way.)

Now my question is mainly for an easy solution. (not including the obvious LHR.) I really like the effect that green/blue eyeshadows do with my eyes... my skin tone is more olive. Sadly, it brings attention to the five o clock shadow in the mid afternoon. Is there a more sure fire process i can implement into my daily morning routine to help this?

That five o clock shadow gives my dysphoria reasons to be dysphoric.

Re: Tips on five o clock shadow...

Hello @ESC2367 ,

Thank you for your question! I recommend to use an orange color corrector - this will cancel out the blue hue from the five o'clock shadow. Lancรดme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Color Corrector 3 Orange / Red is a great one to use as it is pigmented and very long-wearing. Apply over the 5 o'clock shadow using a flat brush like the SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Concealer Brush #71  or a dry beauty sponge. Let it absorb and dry completely before layering you concealer and foundation. You'll find this technique will provide you the finish you're looking for.

I hope this helps and please share with us how it turns out!

Best,

Shawn
