Hi, I'm new.

Hello everyone.

Quick intro, I'm Jadi, but you can call me JD or Hoshi. I'm a trans woman who have been undergoing HRT for 2+ years now, but am still learning a lot about myself. Pronouns are She/They, and I'm pretty much just trying to be mindful and curious to whatever there is to learn along this journey.

Recently this month (July 2024), I started going to Sephora. I was very shy and reserved at first, but the folks there have been so kind, helpful, and supportive everytime. I've only had one sour experience at the store, but that's just because of a rude customer. The advisor, on that day, was very sweet and comforting, and her help has soften the blow from what happened in the store that spiked my anxiety. I'm still dealing with a bit of the Aftershock of that night, but otherwise I'm slowly recovering.

I figured I'd maybe join the group to see if there's anything else I need to learn ranging from makeup, to hair, to skin care, etc. Plus, finding folks within the community or at least with an understanding I feel may help with feeling comfortable in my own skin.
