vitamin c

I have combo skin and I’m acne prone on my cheeks, but I want to help the sun damage and freckles I have on them and I have been told Vitamin C is the way to go. I also know there’s about 100 different vitamin C products out there and I want to hear LOTS of different recommendations and your opinions on the product you like.

Re: vitamin c

I use TruSkin Naturals Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and it has worked wonders, I usually put this on at night immediately after I dermaroll.

RE: vitamin c

I used to buy Skinceuticals CE Ferulic from my dermatologist but I’mglad that Drunk Elephant came up with a slightly cheaper version for the L-Ascorbic Acid because both gave the same kind of results on me in terms of clarity and radiance. You should give it a try!

Re: RE: vitamin c

Where in your skin routine to you put the vitamin c on? I cleanse, tone, serum, eye then moisturizer. Would I put it on after the serum?

RE: Re: RE: vitamin c

For me, I use daily in the mornings. In the AM, I cleanse, use an acid toner ( let it work for 15 - 20 mins) then I put vitamin C serum (i.e Drunk Elephant C serum, let it dry for a minute ) then all the rest of my serums, creams, spf follows. I apply the products with the lowest ph / lightest consistency first. The thickest products like oils and SPF goes on last.

Re: RE: vitamin c

Vitamin C should come after cleansing. You'll want to use it before your toners and other serums. Also, many people like to let it sit for 5-15 minutes before continuing with the rest of their routine.

Thanks!

Re: vitamin c

I love OST C20 (recently changed name to T'iam C Source). It's available from Jolse and Wishtrend and has become one of the products I can't do without.

Re: vitamin c

@autumnash I rec Paula's Choice C15 Super Booster (15% Vitamin C, plus E, and ferulic acid).  It's the most affordable C serum on beautypedia with 5 stars, and is also rec'd by Allure.  Good luck!

RE: vitamin c

I like Ole Henrichsen’s Truth Serum
