stubborn sebum

Hi there! I am currently struggling with texture on my forehead. This texture is mostly home to very stubborn dried up sebum that does not want to come out. Even with exfoliation. Is there any solution to this? Bumpy forehead texture with nothing but old stuck sebum. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I currently use a cleansing oil (iunik), cerave SA cleanser and the cerave daily moisturizer

Do you use a sunscreen, @iliwolf? Here are a few things I would suggest trying:

-switch out the Cerave SA cleanser for a gentle cleanser and a leave-on BHA/salicylic acid exfoliator. For many, having SA in a cleanser just doesn't get the job done since it's not on the skin for very long. A leave-on product is often more effective. 

-clay masking. This is great clearing out pores and keeping oil down. 

-a gentle physical exfoliatior. You could use a silicone brush like a Foreo or a gentle scrub like Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Orange Extract 4.3 oz/ 127 mL or an enzyme exfoliator like AMOREPACIFIC Treatment Enzyme Peel Mini 0.7 oz/ 20 g 

-adding a hydrating toner or serum. Keeping your skin hydrated can mean less oil production. 

-check in with your dermatologist. They should be able to evaluate any underlying conditions and make suggestions that could help.
