is it really worth it?

heyy y’all, i have a very important question to ask y’all.. so i’ve been wondering if buying drunk elephant products are worth the hype. i’ve been hearing a lot of people talking about their products lately and i want to know if it’s really worth it. please someone let me know!

Re: is it really worth it?

drunk elephant does have decent products, but it is extremely overpriced. they are good products, but other brand make products just as good (or better!!) for a fraction of the price. i do LOOOOOVE the aesthetic of the packaging though, and it’s so fun to use. so it’s up to you. if you want skincare that’s super expensive, fun to use, that works well, or do you want to buy WAY cheaper skincare that is effective, worth your money, and saves your skin.

Re: is it really worth it?

I was recommended by a Sephora specialist and returned it. Cute packaging but it wasn’t working for me. I have combo skin. At the time of purchase it was winter and my skin was dry and the moisturizer did not add or assist with hydration. It is a brand I wouldn’t return to/ unless the price changed and a major change for combo skin.

I agree drunk elaphant is not great for sensitive skin and overall is overpriced not a great brand

Hi @curlyheadevee

There are alot of great skincare products out there. Drunk Elephant has some great items, from my experience 🙂

But I have skincare from The Ordinary and The Inkey List that work for me too.

I think it depends on what your skin care routine is, what your skin goals are,  and what your skin can handle. Some Ingredients and formulas work better or worse depending on your own unique skin.

Getting your hands on some testers, minis or foils can be a nice way to try out a brand without comiting to a new big purchase. Even testing them out in store.
