hey guys

i really need help w my skincare for dry sensitive skin any help helps. thank u

Re: hey guys

@JAiMEDAKiD For dry sensitive skin the foundation that actually works long term is a cream cleanser that doesn't foam aggressively, a humectant like glycerin or hyaluronic acid applied on damp skin, and then a moisturizer with ceramides and fatty acids to seal everything in, because that humectant plus occlusive layering approach does a lot more for persistent dryness than just piling on thicker creams alone.

Re: hey guys

For my dry skin, it loves when I later up on hydrating, moisturizing and occluding (think oils or Vaseline) products that includes ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides (to boost skin barrier) and various oils. I tend to avoid using too many exfoliating ingredients, like AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic acid and lactic acid [a little lactic acid can help with hydrating but too much exfoliating tends to break down my skin barrier]) or PHAs.

I don't know your price range or how many but a few recommendations include (categories in order of skin care application), @JAiMEDAKiD

Face Mists

(Milky) Toners

Hydrating Essences

Hydrating Serums

Moisturizers

Occluders

My personal favorites are italicized, but I recommend starting slow, introducing one product at a time for a few days to make sure your skin doesn't react poorly to anything (and do a patch test). If you have a local Sephora or similar store, see if you can get a sample. Good luck!! Another brand to look into is Bubble.

If you're into K Beauty, there's a ton more products through other various retailers, but pay attention to the particular ingredients your skin likes and look for those.
