Not at Sephora but the Pixie by Petra glow tonic literally changed the surface of my skin.

RE: Witch Hazel

I much prefer witch hazel over alcohol but I have been using a vitamin c serum for my sun spots and acne scars. Between my chemical exfoliation (glycolic acid) and vitamin c There has been a noticeable difference for me. Not an expert by any means but I love skin care!

RE: Witch Hazel

Yessss I love witch hazel. You can definitely use it daily. But is also love it because it's also good for killing any bacteria or infections... so you can also use it on cuts or something

I know these other ladies love it but be weary. Witch hazel is high in tannins which can be sensitizing when used for an extended period of time. Some witch hazel has less tannin but those varieties also have lower astringent qualities. Also alot of witch hazel is distilled with alcohol which isnt great for your skin. Some contain large amounts of a certain fragrance chemical(eugenol) which is another sensitizer. In my opinion you would be better off finding a good gentle toner. Either moisturizing or skin balancing. A few that come to mind are the Clinique even better essence (dry and oily skin versions). Cliniques moisture surge face spray is a great option for a moisturizing toner. also skII cellumination mask-in lotion(not actually a thick lotion). Hope that helps.

Great points!

Re: Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is a great and safe toner. It can be used after microderming, lip waxing, eye waxing. How about waxing in general. Soothes irritations.

RE: Witch Hazel

Yes! Im currently using that as a toner! And so far so good. It does not make my skin dry. I've been using lytera by skin medica for my uneven skin tone and i love it!

RE: Witch Hazel

Yes!! I love it.

RE: Witch Hazel

Yes it is! I've been using the witch hazel from Whole Foods and I justslash some into clean hands after I've washed and cleansed my face and I pat the witch hazel in! It definitely helps with acne and inflammation! I would try the Sunday Riley oil it helped a lot with my scarring. I know the bottle is expensive so maybe look for something with retinol in it.
