What serum should I try??

I'm 23 years old and am looking to add a serum to my routine. I have sensitive skin, combo skin. I want something to help Retexturize my skin and make it look smoother. Something that is also hydrating. And something that has anti aging properties. Any ideas??

I also have sensitive/combination skin. My Holy Grail's are Sunday Riley - Good Genes and Sunday Riley - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil. I've been wanting to try/heard great things about her newer C.E.O Rapid Flash Brightening Serum. Another I'd recommend but is gel, is Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel. Hope this helps! Xo.

I like Ren skin line especially the moisture hydro cream

Based on what you want I think you should get a prescription for a retinA cream from your doctor. Also look to Caroline Hirons blog for great skincare recommendations. She's a brilliant skincare professional who has awesome skincare routines and reviews of loads of different products.

I also have combination skin and have had great luck with the fresh rose hydrating serum. It feels great and doesn't make me break out at all.

Hey there!

You seem to want an all-round serum that basically does it all.. You may be better off getting an AHA/BHA (acid) containing peel or scrub for the retexturing and smoothing part as I personally swear by this. I would also strongly recommend the Clinique 7-Day Fresh Vitamin C Boosters as a once-every-now-and-then kind of skin reset and intense course. Normally not a fan of Clinique really due to overly drying features but this one's a keeper!!

What price range were you looking at for a serum? I love serums from Drunk Elephant and as an overnight treatment I really like the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Complex or the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery. Serums are trickier as they easily shoot up in prices, also some of them can leave a strange residue which may not work with your cream or make up so make sure you try it out properly before buying!

I was looking at a serum from drunk elephant. I might go into Sephora to get a sample and try it out before buying because it is SUPER expensive!!

I know what you mean.. they are pricey but I always think the two things to spend money on is a good serum and a good moisturiser. Cleanser etc I always find easier to substitute but moisturiser and serum are the two parts that make a more significant difference to your skin in the longer run. Also, they tend to last quite long I find.

I feel that Josie Maran products with pure Argan Oil, would be great for you. They care for your skin in every way you described. All products contain Argan Oil. I experimented and ordered other argan oil products but none of them where as pure and lovely as Josie's. Josie's Milky Serum is great to start with in the am and pm. I then recommend her Facial Cream, am and pm. Bi love, love her pure Argan Oil . I use it after I apply her moisturizer and any areas of my body that are dry. You can even add it to your Primers, foundations and lip glosses. I have tried many products from the most expensive to least and I find for your age and concerns these organic and healthy products would be great! Good Luck!
