What am I doing wrong? 😭

Before the pandemic started, I rarely got acne and had very oily skin. Over the past 3 months, I have been getting so much hormonal acne. WellI think it’s hormonal. Lots of chin acne and little white heads randomlyover the face. I watched a Tati video where she got the dermapore. So of course I purchased it... let me say I loved it! A little too much 😅 my face is covered in HUGE acne scabs and I now I have more acne than I started with. I don’t know what to do???? Am I using too many products??? Or putting them on wrong??? 😭 I know I probably went overboard cleaning my face but it’s been about a week and a half since that incident My morning routine- Cuadalie cleansing oil ,Shani Darden toner, Naturium niacinamide, The lapis oil, Kiehls vitamin C serum, ShaniDarden moisturizer. |My Night time- Cuadalie cleansing oil, Shani Darden cleanser, Shani Darden toner, Naturium niacinamide, The lapis oil, Shani Darden retinal (Been skipping this step because all the dry flaky skin and scabs) Summer Friday’s hydrating mask or korres probiotic mask

My chin has a mind of it’s own.  I am breaking out and cannot get it under control.  The face masks/coverings don’t help.  Also, stress during this time isn’t our skin’s friend right now.  I hope your acne gets under control!

It’s probably stress! But also make sure you aren’t mixing Niacinimide and VitaminC together, they don’t react well!

Hon, I think you're just purging. Your skin doesn't look irritated, and your routine sounds awesome. Treat the acne with a drying lotion like Mario Badescu makes or with hydrocolloid bandages (CosRX for example), give it another couple of weeks and see if things start to calm down before you jump ship.

Hi, Same here! Before the pandemic I got a few breakouts during that time of the month. I have been using a toner called COSRX at night after I double cleanse. It is clarifying toner with AHA/BHA. Have you tried using an AHA/BHA product before?
