Water boosters... do they work?

I was reading Sephora's section on skin hydration and I was particularly interested in the products they recommended for "inner hydration". I wanted to know what do you think about products, such as the Dr. Brandt Antioxidant Water Booster.

I take a collegen supplement. it's vital protein. and I have seen a difference in skin and hair. I add it to coffee or tea in morning

I read several reviews online only saying good things, but I was hoping for more personal insight here before I purchase it.

I’m also super curious. I don’t know if there’s any studies on these types of things for us to know if they are really effective or all the hype is a placebo effect.

First article popped up from Self Magazine, TLDR: 

The takeaway: Sipping on collagen supplements daily isn't a reliable route to better skin. You’re better off using sunscreen and retinol on a regular basis.

I really wanted to try Deciem's Fountain line that has liquid hyaluronic acid supplements for fun. I really regret not ordering them when they were on sale at the end of the year. If I get something I'll write a post about it and keep you guys in the loop. You're right, someone's got to try this stuff out.

@lidianams I was reading that section also. My finger was lingering over the "add to cart" but I held back. Interested in feedback though!
