Should I go with summer Fridays vitamin c serum or Sunday Riley vitamin c serum?

@Belstan4  When choosing a skincare product, check the ingredients to see which one is most beneficial for your skin type and your specific skincare goals. Look up any ingredients you don’t know, or try searching a database like INCI Decoder for your products to see a handy breakdown of ingredients. 

If forced to choose between those 2, I’d pick Summer Fridays. A quick scan of both serums’ ingredients tells me Summer Fridays CC Me Vitamin C + Niacinamide Serum 1.0 oz/ 30 mL  contains 2 forms of vitamin C and a higher number of beneficial ingredients (including niacinamide and peptides) than Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL . The SR serum seems overpriced for what it is. 

But the SF serum also contains lots of perfuming flower extracts, so it’d probably irritate my face. And I don’t like that SF doesn’t disclose the % of vitamin C; I like to know the potency of an ingredient like that so I can make sure I won’t damage my skin using it with my other skincare products. So, I wouldn’t use either the SF or SR serums. 

I currently use Farmacy Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry 1.0 oz/ 30 mL because it contains multiple forms of both vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. My mostly dry combo skin loves this stuff, especially now that cold weather’s here. There are other good vit C serum options, though, some of which cost less and aren’t sold at Sephora—but ”good” vs  “good for your particular skin” depends on your skin type and concerns/goals.

I started using Summer Fridays vitamin c after using the Olehenrikson one and it is not as good. It strips my skin. Whereas the olehenriksen was gentle and left it glowing

Personally I think Summer Friday’s is an overhyped brand that’s only popular because of Influencers (sorry!) So if I was choosing between the two I’d go with Sunday Riley. I also like Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate. If you’re unsure I’d grab a mini/travel size first because Vitamin C products are so hit and miss with everyone.

My personal favorite is  Farmacy Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry 1.0 oz/ 30 mL @Belstan4 @Farmacy has done an amazing job with this formulation! It smells amazing and isn't as sticky as other vitamin c serums I've tried
