Vitamin C

HELP! Herbivore Nova 15% Vitamin C serum or Farmacy 10% waterless Vitamin C Serum? I’m stuck between the two! (I’m open to other suggestions too) Thanksssss 🙂

Re: Vitamin C

Just my personal opinion, if you have dry skin I would go for the Farmacy and if you oily skin I would go for the Herbivore.

The Herbivore is going to be more of a cream texture that rubs into the skin. It doesn’t leave a matte or glowy finish, it is more natural.

The Farmacy is going to feel more like an oil and it will leave a more wet glow look to the skin.

I personally don’t like the Farmacy one because it feels very oily to me and the finish is way more glow than I prefer. I like my vitamin C to be more creamy, but that is definitely personal preference! Hope this helps!

Re: Vitamin C

@CortneyMarie Those are two brands I enjoy, but two products I actually have not tried! Vitamin C is one on my favorite ingredients - I just haven’t needed to replace my Vit C serums yet.

I am currently using Tatcha Violet-C Brightening Serum 20% Vitamin C + 10% AHA 1 oz/ 30 mL as part of my nighttime routine. For day, I love Supergoop! Daily Dose Vitamin C + SPF 40 Sunscreen Serum PA+++ 1.0 oz/ 30 mL because it also gives that all important SPF protection!

Previously, I have used OLEHENRIKSEN Truth Serum Hydrating Vitamin C Serum 1.0 oz/ 30 mL and KORA Organics Noni Bright Vitamin C Serum 1.01 oz/ 30 mL, but I enjoy what I am using now much better!
