Vitamin C Serums

I'm looking at both PTR Camu Camu Power C x 30™ Vitamin C Brightening Serum and Ole Henriksen Truth Serum - I'd love some real-world user feedback on these or any others that you find to be particularly amazing.
I'm 42 with normal to slightly oily skin, fair to medium in tone, lots of freckles that I like to hide and no wrinkles to speak of.

Thanks for your help and recommendations!

Re: Vitamin C Serums

The Drunk Elephant Vitamin C Serum is very good.  It also has a whole bunch of other good for your skin ingredients.  I've been using the Dr. Dennis Gross Vitamin C serum lately, and I think I prefer it to the Drunk Elephant.  I've noticed my skin has a bit more of a glow since I started using it.

I always apply in the AM, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then go on with the rest of my routine.

Re: Vitamin C Serums

I've recently started using the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum and it's amazing. I have very oily, acne prone skin with lots of texture. Within a week of using this serum, I look brighter, more even and less oily. It seems to make my makeup last longer as well. It's definitely on the pricier side... but I'm completely sold on it.

Drunk Elephant has sample bottles you can buy for way cheaper if you'd like to test the product before committing to the expensive, full-size bottle. I definitely recommend at least trying it out! It's done wonders for my skin. However, I feel like it could be a little drying to people with dryer skin...

Re: Vitamin C Serums

Algenist Vitamin C serum - I saw brightening and texture results within the first week (I'm 62). I use it once at night. I am fair skin tone, oily with my share of wrinkles/lines. Hooray you have no wrinkles!

I tried a bunch to save money and went back to Algenist. I don't remember all but these are the ones I do remember: Olay, Loreal, Lumene (all 3 drugstore); OH Truth Serum, Philosophy (the powder booster) or Paula's Choice Vit C booster.  I didn't try PTR.

Re: Vitamin C Serums

I love Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. I was very skeptical when I first tried it, but ended up loving it. I have sensitive skin and have very dry skin. I had some texture and dry patches near my cheeks and chin area and since I've used this serum, my skin has gotten better over time. I didn't notice that my skin brighten that much, but somehow people noticed that my skin looks brighter and better. My makeup application is much better since I started using this serum. I haven't tried any other serum, so I can't say if Ole is better than other serums out there, but I wouldn't take a chance in trying others since this works wonders for my difficult face.
