THE ULTIMATE AT-HOME FACIAL

Currently pregnant and bored out of my mind. I’m an esthetician, so I decided I’d attempt to create the Ultimate, Luxury, At-Home Facial with products I consider to be top tier. My skin has never felt/looked better after this facial. Note: I’ve gotten A LOT of professional facials and have tried MANY products (literally over $1000’s spent on skincare). This facial is AMAZING, so I wanted to share it with you! Let me know what you think and feel free to share facial products you consider to be the BEST! I would absolutely LOVE feedback. I’m so glad I found this Community because I have been so bored waiting for baby to come and I absolutely love chatting about skincare!  

PART 1 of Facial: Removing Oil and Impurities AKA Taking Out the BAD!

STEP 1 > EYE/LIP MAKEUP REMOVAL

Koh Gen Doh, Cleansing Spa Water Cloths

*Personally, I like to use a wipe to remove my eye/lip makeup. You can omit this step if you aren’t wearing makeup or omit this step and just skip to the Precleanse which will also remove the makeup.

STEP 2 > PRECLEANSE

Dermalogica, Precleanse

*Dermalogica is not sold on Sephora, so an alternative would be Clinique, Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm.

STEP 3 > CLEANSE

Dr. Brandt, Microdermabrasion (age defying exfoliator)

STEP 4 > CHEMICAL EXFOLIATION

Dr. Brandt, Radiance Resurfacing Foam

STEP 5 > LIP EXFOLIATION

Fresh, Sugar Lip Polish

*Apply this with a disposable mascara wand for best results and leave product on during the next step while steaming.

STEP 6 > DEEP CLEANSE

Fresh, Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask

*Note: Steam for ~10 minutes! Allow the pores to open for a deep cleansing.

STEP 7 > EXTRACTIONS

*Items Needed: Alcohol, Extractor Tool, Witch Hazel, Gloves, Gauze Pad. I don’t recommend doing this if you aren’t a professional because you could cause infection and scarring if you do not do it correctly. But I listed it because I wanted to show you were the step would be in the facial.

STEP 8 > High Frequency

Signstek, High Frequency Skin Care Wand

*Again, I don’t recommend doing this if you aren’t a professional because you could cause an electric burn on your skin if this step is not done properly. But I wanted to list where this would be applied during the facial.

*Apply these and keep these on during the next Step.

STEP 11 > MASK 2

STEP 12 > TREATMENT

Kate Somerville, Dermal Quench Liquid Lift

STEP 13 > EYE GEL, SERUM, HYDRATION GEL, MOISTURE BINDING CREAM

Intraceuticals, Rejuvenate Eye Gel

Intraceuticals, Rejuvenate Daily Serum

*Note: Sephora does not carry this line. You could substitute it for:

*Note: You should pat the Serum in. However, this is a great time to incorporate massage and work the additional products into your skin to stimulate your facial muscles.

STEP 14 > LIP BALM
