Toners and Cleansers

I have a biiig problem. Every single toner I’ve used and micellar water make up removers I’ve used have cause the skin around my eyes to get redand puff up and eventually leave them really dry and the skin gets these horrible dry patches that leaves my eyes looking crusty and gross. I have to wait two weeks at least before I can wear eye shadow andconcealer and have it look normal. It’s only around my eyes and no whereelse on my face. Has anyone else had this problem and/or what toners and eye makeup removers do you recommend? I love wearing eye make up and it makes me so sad when I look like I’m having a horrible allergic reaction.

RE: Toners and Cleansers

Use a cleansing balm! They are very moisturizing and Clinique has one specifically formulated for sensitive skin, which it sounds like you have. I use one from Farmacy that I also love. Good luck!

@beccaericks I rec MUFE Sens'Eyes for eye makeup remover.  As for micellar cleansers, I've read that in order for them to not irritate your eyes, you really do need to wash them off - in other words, you shouldn't leave them on your skin like the bottle says.  IDK if this would make a difference for your routine.  Good luck!

Second @greeneyedgirl107's rec of the MUFE eye makeup remover.  It's very gentle and it does a good job of removing eye makeup.

Have you tried the Son and Park beauty water?
