Toner

Any recommendations on a toner that does not have alcohol as a ingredient?

RE: Toner

Dermalogica’s Multi Active toner! Can’t recommend it enough.

Re: Toner

I use the Lancome Tonique Douceur Softening Hydrating Toner with Rose Water. It is alcohol free, has very little to no scent if that's what you're looking for, and it's good on my combination skin.

RE: Toner

I agree with a previous post...Son & Park’s Beauty Water is my favorite. I also use the Shisedo pads to apply and can’t live without them.

RE: Toner

Thayers Rose Petal toner is incredibly gentle. Mario Badescu Aloe Vera toner is another great option!

RE: Toner

I second both of these choices!! Love thayers

Re: Toner

You can actually use Apple Cider Vinegar. The smell might throw you off if you're not used to it. I use it direct sometimes but you can dilute it with filtered water!

Re: Toner

I would definitely patch test as with anything else first. I diluted ACV with 5 parts water, and after using for 2 weeks I got a tiny rash and red bumps on my cheeks! But patch testing goes without saying for any new product too 😄

RE: Re: Toner

I really like the jasmine spritz toner from May lindstrom. It's pricey. Herbivore just came out with a jasmine mist so i plan on trying that as an alternative. Something with jasmine or roses are really great toners and feel wonderful on the skin.

Re: Toner

@makeupbypearlz Neutrogena has a toner called "Alcohol-Free Toner."  Back when I was using toners, I liked it.

Re: Toner

The belief one does not have alcohol in it---it's good if you have acne and it is not harsh or anything

Re: Toner

Try some Korean brands such as It's Skin. I'm using the It's Skin with the collagen nutrition toner and I'm in love with this one! None of alcohol, rich of collagen make your skin be cleansed, replenished, and transformed to reveal supple skin with improved elasticity

RE: Re: Toner

Thank u so much I will try

RE: Toner

Son & Park beauty water. I have sensitive combo skin that is on the dryer side. I always had adverse or no reaction to toners before this one. It is very softening and never causes breakouts. It is about as liquid as water so apply it with Shiseido facial cotton. Also if you are applying toner use Shiseido facial cotton. Trust me you will never go back to cotton swabs once you have used them. They are the bomb.

RE: Toner

Thank u so much.. and I have heard shisiedo pads are amazing

RE: Toner

What type of skin do you have? The Rose Deep Hydration Toner from Fresh is great if you have normal to dry skin and doesn't have alcohol in it.
