Toner with no alcohol

Hi everyone,

I need a new toner. I'm looking for a toner that isn't too expensive, that doesn't have alcohol in it, and that can be used twice a day if needed. I didn't realize how bad alcohol is and I'm trying to make sure I don't use any skin care products with alcohol. I have dehydrated skin in winters and sometimes fall and combo skin in summers. As always, any advice or recommendations is appreciated!

Caudalie Moisturizing Toner. It's alcohol Free and is actually supposed to be used am and pm. its really great.

it also only has 7 ingredients

I use Thayer's witch hazel toner (it's about $12 on Amazon) and I highly recommend it

I've been using the Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Refreshing Toner (I don't know if there's anywhere else they sell it in the US except Target). It's a basic product, not a miracle worker, but for the price, it's a very good, solid product and there's no alcohol. Maybe one day I'll up the game on toner and get something fancier with more frills, but it'll probably cost more than I want to pay for that step.

You can go to Ulta and get a bottle of Micellar cleansing water by simple for 7.99 or Garnier skin active Micellar cleansing water same difference and works GREAT

@OceansAnon I know not everyone believes Paula's Choice, but she has benzyl alcohol listed as one of the good ones.

I personally use the Caudalie Moisturizing Toner twice daily and I love it! It makes my skin feel fresh and ready for next steps of skincare, while removing last trace of dirt or makeup. It's not sticky or to oily, it's the perfect neutral toner that hydrates the skin softly. Look for the 400 ml bottle if it's available, you will get a lot of product for a reasonable price!

Caudalie essence it is like $49 but the bottle will last you forever! It tones, and is a gentle daily exfoliant to help brighten the complexion. It is my go to toner/essence

So I have really dry skin year around so I looked for a toner that was cheaper but would also clear up acne, after talking with an Estonian she suggested rose water, orange blossom water, and witch hazel. 1/3 of each part 2 times a day. It's under $12 and it can last 8 months or more. But if your looking for a product from Sephora I would say honestly a rose water toner.

I highly recommend toners from Paula’s Choice. Unfortunately not a sephora product, but a great line of toners with ingredients that will help your skin. They have a good variety tailored to your skin type.

Hi. I am on my second bottle of Origin's White Tea toner. It comes in a green bottle; I can't remember the name of the line. It's gentle, effective, and preps skin for following treatments. At the price point of $25, this bottle delivers what it claims without alcohol!

I personally use Biologique Recherche's Lotion P50 (w/phenol) as my toner. They also make a version without phenol. It is a gentle balancing exfoliating toner, and still hydrating. You can find this at Rescue Spa. The absolute prices are on the higher side but they last a long time. 

I also really like Herbivore's toners and sprays. They have a few to choose from, the rose one, a hydrating one, and a balancing one. The regular balancing and hydrating toning elixirs I have only been able to find at Urban Outfitters. They are $12 for 60 mL/2 oz. 

I've heard good things about the SKII Facial Treatment Essence but this is expensive. The MISSHA Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence is comparable and less expensive. You can find this one their website (they run promos often) or at Target. It's $49 for 150 mL.

The Milk Matcha Toner is alcohol free.  I really like it.  I can use it twice a day on even my sensitive skin.
