Toner recommendations

What’s everyone’s favorite toner? I have dry skin with some acne scars/hyper pigmentation. Also, does anyone use an essence? I’ve seen tons of reviews on the Origins one and I really want to try it! 🙂

Re: Toner recommendations

@mkd83189 I have (normal)dry skin, and my favorite hydrating toner is Odacite Aloe + Immortelle Hydra Repair Treatment Mist. But, Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator ( second fave ), Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Enriched Calming Toner, Origins A Perfect World ( used to be toner, now I see some kind of lotion/essence. No idea if that's the same thing... just different, trendier name? ), Whamisa Deep Rich Essence, Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist... all of these are super hydrating, too.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads and Pixi Glow Tonic exfoliate, tone and brighten the skin. They are great at keeping those pesky flakes at bay.

Re: Toner recommendations

For toning in the mornings, I use the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads. But at night, I tend to go for an inexpensive witch hazel and rose water one, sometimes the one from Trader Joe's and sometimes whichever one I can find at a hippie natural/organic grocery store.

As for essences, I've found that they definitely make a difference when my skin feels dry, but since Sephora stopped carrying my favorite, I'm looking for a new one, too!

I highly recommend the Fresh black tea essence! Made a big difference in my skin. I haven't tried the tatcha essence but it also is supposed to be really good!

Re: Toner recommendations

@mkd83189 I love Pixi's Glow Tonic, it's affordable and really helps dry/flaky skin to glow up. I also like the fresh Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner 8.4 oz/ 250 mL to hydrate and tone the skin, it's super gentle tho, not the biggest result but it's great if you're more on the sensitive side. As for the essence i never tried the Origins one but it does sounds interesting. My favorite one is by far the  SK-II Aging Skin Facial Treatment Essence with Antioxidants 5.4 oz/ 160 mL  it's super pricy 😬.. but it's worth it !!
