The Ordinary for Hyperpigmentation/Dark Spots

I have oily skin and I want to try The Ordinary line, is there anything someone can recommend trying?

RE: The Ordinary for Hyperpigmentation/Dark Spots

You don’t want to jump into using too many AHA’s and BHA’s at once. I suggest starting out with the 5% latic acid serum. Use after you cleanse and tone. If you really want to kick it up a notch use after an essence. You can fine inexpensive essences to add to your skin cate routine. Essence helps your serums absorb into the skin faster and softens the skin. Just make sure if you use any AHA’s and BHA’s you must use spf after. I recommend picking up a moisturizer that has spf infused so that your product doesn’t ball up. I barely have any enlarged pores on a bad day and I swear by this routine.

I love their AHA 30% / BHA 2% Peeling Solution. It’s helped with my dark spots and leaves your skin baby soft and smooth. It stings the first time, but my tougher yet sensitive skin got used to it quickly.

@karmendarcy I’ve been wrestling with a few dark spots from cystic acne and I found that exfoliating helps. These DDG peel pads have been helpful with that!

@karmendarcy I second @lmaster recommendations and also suggest their Alpha Arbutin + HA. I'm giving it a whirl myself right now.

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA Hyperpigmentation Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL

The Ordinary for Hyperpigmentation/Dark Spots

@karmendarcy I'd recommend Niacinamide serum and their retinol serum is pretty good
