The Ordinary Niacinamide

I recently tried out the Ordinary Niacinamide Serum and I got chemical burns on my face and neck. I don’t know how to treat this burns and now I’m unsure if I should use any other skincare product because my skin is very sensitive right now. I’m super disappointed about that product especially after all the hype and I’m worried about my skin’s condition. PLEASE HELPPP

Re: The Ordinary Niacinamide

Hi @Mirajchocolate!

I've just started using The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL  , too!  It felt super drying even on my oily face and my hands were so dry that I had to use a super thick ointment for 3 days!

I recommend going to or talking to your dermatologist immediately.  They will be able to help you and maybe prescribe some medications.

Aloe is known to heal a lot of things like burns.  My friend burned her face badly using a hot iron but it went away after using aloe for a few months.

Thank you!! I used an aloe mask yesterday and it was really soothing. Hopefully I can find a good dermatologist 🙂
