Tatcha?

Thinking of trying tatcha! lmk if you guys had any good experiences with it or love it!

Re: Tatcha?

@Annie687 I love Tatcha products! I have dry skin so my favorites are the TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist 2-in-1 Hydrator & Finishing Spray 1.35 / 40 and I also love the Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer 0.7 oz/ 20 g

Re: Tatcha?

Personally,  I enjoyed the dewy mist cream it keeps my skin hydrated all day! Since the products are expensive I totally reccomend that you start off with a travel size and see if you like it.

Tatcha?

I have tried Tatcha a few times and have decided that it's ok. I have combo skin that changes with the weather. Most of the products made my skin really oily and my makeup would not layer well at all. The essence was whatever. I really like the one from Missha's Time Revolution line. The Tatcha rice powder was alright, but the container became all gross in my shower due to the type of opening. I would rather suggest using the Enzyme Treatment Peel cleansing powder by Amorepacific. That is one amazing product. Amorepacific is a much better brand at Sephora, in my opinion.

Re: Tatcha?

It might be worth trying a couple of travel-sized products prior to purchasing; I bought the full-size rice polish for dry skin and I absolutely love it, but I am not a huge fan of either the cleanser (deep cleanse) nor the moisturizer (water cream). I am happy I tried those in smaller sizes (think I used Sephora points) and saved some money.

Re: Tatcha?

Hi @Annie687,

Tatcha has lots of great products. If you're interested in trying out a couple of different products, I recommend the TATCHA - The Ritual for Radiant Skin Set which contains six travel sized essentials.

A product that I've used for years is the TATCHA - Violet-C Radiance Mask. I find that using this mask 1-2x a week makes my skin look brighter.

Re: Tatcha?

Their water cream is my favorite!! It's perfect for my normal/combination (oily t-zone) skin. It basically turns to water on contact and sinks in immediately. Super hydrating without being greasy at ALL- it's like a drink of water for your skin.

Re: Tatcha?

@Annie687 I have tried almost the whole line and have loved every product. Some people are allergic to some of the ingredients they use

RE: Tatcha?

First off I promise I’m not a secret tatcha sponsor.. I just really really love it. I don’t know if it’s top-notch product design or just the best marketing team, there is something about tatcha products that makes them so covetable. The brand is dedicated to sustainability, donates to girls’ education, and also, there’s just this *thoughtfulness* that goes into it. The lipsticks, for example. They only have a few shades, and sure, they wear well, but they’re not THE BEST lipstick I’ve ever worn. But why do I now own three? Bc the pink/nude shade is the perfect pink nude shade. Bc the tubes feel so heavy and substantial. Bc I feel so good about myself during that minute of self care when I apply it. I have tried just about all the tatcha line, and was going to write out reviews for everything but you don’t want to read all that. I will say that, in general, using (the right) tatcha products will not only give you great skin, it will bring you an appreciation for your skincare routine. So here’s my quick run down Cleansing oil / rice polish — luxurious, works well together. Not a must-buy but very good The Essence — must buy. Tried several highly-hyped essences but returned to this Bc it makes my skin look amazing. The price hurts. Dewy luminous hydration serum - nothing special. Luminous eye serum- didn’t do much for me Silk peony eye cream - a cool idea and texture. Good for hydration, not the best anti aging eye cream. Violet c serum - phenomenal. It just applies so light and sinks right into your skin. This is my favorite vitamin c serum, and I’ve tried at least a dozen. Dewy sheet masks - overpriced but an affordable splurge for special occasions. Silk/dewy/water cream - this comes down to preference. The dewy cream has been A+ for me this winter. I know the water cream is very popular but I didn’t love it. Sunscreen - praised for its light silky texture. A no for me Bc the chemical base irritated skin and eyes. Primer - very popular. It’s a good lightweight ‘silicone-y’ primer, ie pore filling and silken, I didn’t like the way it felt on my skin Luminous skin mist - coats your skin. Pass for me The pearl - my first tatcha purchase. I don’t wear concealer, this works great when I want to improve the appearance of my under-eye circles and puffs. Hope this helps! Let me know what you end up buying. Just FYI you can buy most of tatcha’s products in trial size from their website, and the cost is reasonably scaled. A nice way to dip your toes in 🙂

Tatcha?

I honestly did not like it I have the cleanser and the moisturizer and it didn't do anything for me

Re: Tatcha?

The only product I have tried is the Dewey Cream and it broke me out terribly in places where I don't normally break out like under my cheekbone and on my forehead. It also pilled on my face. Realized too late that it's loaded with silicone which is a trigger for me to break out. I'm almost recovered from the last time I tried it in beginning of December but still have dark spots under my cheekbone that will only fade with continued treatment. I gave it three different tries but now the rest of this deluxe sample is going in the trash because I have never had such a terrible reaction to any product. It amazes me that so many people love it, but everyone's skin is different so I guess mine is just more sensitive than I thought. I have oily nose and chin, mostly normal forehead/cheeks with occasional dry patches, very dry neck.

Tatcha?

it's one of my favorite lines. definitely try the essence if you're not budgeting. one of my favorite skin care products. I love their rice polish and one step camellia cleansing oil. also the eye cream is bomb ,,I could go on and on. I love tatcha

RE: Tatcha?

The rice polish and camellia cleansing oil are must try’s! I’ve been using for about 4 years now and it definitely has improved my skin.

Re: Tatcha?

@Annie687 I’m a die hard fan of The Pearl and really enjoy The Silk Canvas primer as well. I wasn’t a huge fan of The Water Cream (too much fragrance and not hydrating enough for me) but the Rice Enzyme Polish was nice for a light exfoliation. I’m dying to try the Dewy Cream since it might suit me better.

Re: Tatcha?

Hi @Annie687 !

I have had very good experiences with Tatcha! One of my favorite product is TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener

I have pretty acne prone skin, but when I use this my spots seem to heal up faster!
