Tarte Maracuja Oil- How do you use?

Do you apply this after serum or after moisturizer?

@Layce711  I’ve been using it right before I put my foundation on. It’s been helping my skin not dry up and flake off! I also like using it at night before bed for extra hydration

I love using the Tarte Maracuja oil for under my eyes and on my lips. I find it moisturizes my lips a lot better than any lip balm or chapstick. It is very oily so I like to use mine at night so it can absorb into my skin for very soft and velvety skin in the morning!

I use mine in the winter time before I go to bed so I don’t wake up with dry patches and I also use a drop to revive my ABH Brow Pomade when it dries up.

Hi @Layce711,

I like to use mine right after I wash my face! I find that it absorbs into my skin better, I also give it a few minutes before applying my other skin care.

I actually put it in the ends of my hair at night to prevent split ends!

Do you find it more hydrating after your moisturizer or before?

@Layce711  I feel like it's a little more hydrating after moisturizer.  I use a bunch of different oils in my skincare routine.

That's up to you, really, and what works best for you. "Conventional wisdom" says oil after moisturizer, as the oil seals in all the water-based products and keeps you hydrated longer. But others swear that they get better results using their oil before their moisturizer.

I split the difference and mix my oil *with* my moisturizer 😄

Try it all ways and see what you like best 🙂
