Super dry lips! Help please!

This last week my lips have been getting super dry. I've managed to control it but the corner of my mouth is starting to break. I've been using belief hydrating bomb and it has been kinda helping but it would really help if anyone can give me recommendations! Thank you!

I love the sephora lip balm. It leaves my lips soft all day. It's cheap compared to the other brands and it gets the job done.

I recently had a horrible bout with dry lips : ( what helped mine was making a simple lip scrub (just coconut oil and sugar) to get the dead skin off. then I used a heavy lip balm or an oil, like jojoba and argan (Derma e face oil is what I use). I feel like locking the oil in with a balm helped a lot!

Try the Sephora honey lip balm it's 6 bucks and works great for me when I get dry skin on my lips. My boyfriend also tried it an loves it as well

I also like the Sephora brand "coconut balm" so nice on the lips and smells amazing!

I had the same problem when I was on Accutane and what saves me was the FAB Ultra Repair Lip Therapy and a lot of Aquaphor as a lip mask at night

The sugar lips balms are great I tried them for my dry lips and they worked for me

I’ve had dry lips for years + live in the desert. Only products that work for me are Bite Agave lip mask (using it like chapstick) and Hempz Lips herbal lip balm. They actually absorb into the lip instead of staying on the surface to moisturize for soft lips - mwah!

I agree with earlier posts that Laneige lip mask is great!  Also, use products like Blistex, not Chapstick, with spf during the day.  If you are getting cracks in the corner of your mouth, that is not always from dry lips, but from bacteria or a fungus. Try bacitracin cream or an antifungal cream with clotrimazole1% just to the corner of your mouth 1-2 times daily.  Also, like earlier post, drink lots of water.

I suggest you go to Sephora and request a sample of the Laneige Sleeping Mask! Sample will last a looong time. If you love it, you can purchase it for like 20 bucks. Super worth. A little goes a long way and has been working wonders for me. I apply it before going to bed almost every night, and I wake up with plump baby bottoms soft lips with diminished lines! I believe it truly hydrates your lips (unlike other products like Vaseline that provides a protective layer on top of your lips). Also, dry lips indicate some signs of dehydration! So, increase your H2O intake and you'll see great results, seriously!

Whenever my lips are getting dry and flaky, the Tarte lip exfoliant jar product is my savior (I think they make a pencil looking one too, but I've never tried that one). Sounds counterintuitive, but it takes off the super dry dead bits without all the cracking and peeling and nastiness, and at the same time is extremely hydrating. Wonderful product. I usually use it before I go to bed and leave it on overnight to soak in all the moisturizing benefits.

@pinkgloss7 I've never tried it everyday - more like every couple weeks, but I don't see why it wouldn't be. It wouldn't rub your lips raw unless you *wanted* to do that, just take off what needs off.
