Spider Veins on Legs?!

Hey everyone! ❤️

So I've just noticed recently that I have these mild, light purple spider veins beginning to show up on my legs. Like i've seen one or two so far but i'm worried!! Now this is probably due to the fact that I stand up alot during work and if not I'm always running around lol but I'm wondering is there any creams (sold in Sephora or anywhere else) that can help treat and prevent this? I'm in my 20's...and starting to worry when seeing these horrible things on my legs!

Thanks a bunch!

Re: Spider Veins on Legs?!

I had laser removal of my varicose veins a couple of years ago, but they're back now so I gave it a try & ordered Dermal MD varicose vein serum my friend recommended it. I have been using the product since last year, & I have noticed a decrease in discomfort & some healthy color of my skin is returning to areas of my legs❤️❤️

Re: Spider Veins on Legs?!

Unfortunately none of the creams I've tried have worked at all. I believe spider veins are hereditary, but factors like weight, diet, and hormones can increase your chances of getting them as well. Yep, standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time is also a huge factor. My job requires me to stand all the time as well, and I get them pretty often. Maybe once a year or so I get mine injected/lasered off and just deal with them until then. They sell these compression stockings that you're required to wear after the treatment, and although they can help prevent future occurences, they're a pain to put on so I slack on wearing them a lot. I believe the brand I use is Mediven, there's cheaper options (I get mine for $70), but I'm not sure if they're as effective. You might want to look into that though, especially if you're working really long shifts. I've also heard of taking Hesperidin and Diosmin to help improve circulation. Definitely would not buy any creams or lotions claiming to get rid of spider veins though, all the ones I've purchased in the past have been a total waste! I'm in my late 20's by the way, and have gotten them since I was a teen. They definitely are appearing more frequently the older I get though, ugh.
