Skincare advice

Hey

I need advice for good skincare routine and product recommendations. I have open pores On my face and are enlarging day by day. I started having acne from last few months and my skin became all bumpy. I have spent dollars on skincare but nothing is working. I have combination skin.
In last few months, my skin got so damaged and  worries me and make me insecure about it.
please suggest something good to improve my skin texture

Re: Skincare advice

I like CeraVe products. My skincare routine is almost entirely made up of their products. I’m thinking about making some changes, especially after reading Skin Vitality. I feel like it’s time to change my moisturizer and add a new SPF. Once I try something new, I’ll definitely share it with you.

Re: Skincare advice

Really late 4 this but CeraVe Cetaphil and larocheposey are really good

Re: Skincare advice

@mehakvirk  A few questions for you:

  1. What products have you already tried that aren’t working?

  2. Are you using something that contains at least 2% salicylic acid (BHA)?

  3. Have you seen a dermatologist or primary care doctor about your skin? I recommend doing that, especially since you mentioned lots of skin damage. A derm or other medical doc can diagnose your skin and give you personalized treatment options.

Visible (“open”) pores are a normal thing for many people. Some of us have larger or smaller looking pores than other folks, and that’s okay! My skin’s mostly-dry combo: my oily zone’s on and around my nose, and that’s where all my visible pores are. I can’t “close” those pores because pores don’t physically open and close. But sometimes they look larger than usual because excess gunk (dead skin and sebum) clog ‘em up and stretch them wider. To prevent that, I use a salicylic acid exfoliant a couple times a week to keep those pores clear. This doesn’t magically erase or “close” those pores; they’ll always be visible. Since pores are a normal feature of human skin, I’m fine with that.
