Skincare Routine

Hi!! This is my current skincare routine, just wondering if you all have any suggestions on what I could add on to treat some of my skincare issues.

AM

- Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar water

- Johnson’s baby shampoo

- Olehehriksen Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer

- REM Beauty Cooling Blurring Undereye Balm

- Neutrogena SPF Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen

PM

- Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar water

- Johnson’s baby shampoo

- COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

- Olehenriksen Goodnight Glow Bakuchiol Sleeping Crème

- Olehenriksen Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment

Just to clarify I use baby shampoo as my 2nd cleanser since I’m prone to getting eye styes, so I must wash my eyes with it daily and figure if it’s safe for my eyes, why not use it everywhere on my face lol? My main skincare concerns are redness/mild rosacea, dark circles, dark/acne spots, and uneven texture. I also have hormonal acne but I doubt any skincare product could do anything for that.. I’ve previously used Melano CC Vitamin C Essence to spot-treat acne marks, but unfortunately it only seemed to make them darker. 😞 Not sure if my skin simply didn’t like that product or if I have a sensitivity to VitC.

Any help or suggestions to my routine would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Skincare Routine

Adding two drops of The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum  too my routine helped me get rid of my hormonal acne @Nejifer it's also got other fun skin benefits too 😉

Re: Skincare Routine

Using a toner has helped me with my acne! I use one from the balancing toner from the brand Ole Henriksen. I also use the spotlight toner from Florence by Mills, you can get that at Ulta.

Re: Skincare Routine

Hi there! I use Systane wipes for my eyes and find them to be super effective. I don't think the Johnson's is hurting your skin, but maybe a mild cleanser like Tatcha or even Cetaphil might be more effective. Peter Thomas Roth also has an amazing cleanser- it's the blue one and the micro beads are perfectly round and smooth so they are great for cleaning without damage. I also recommend Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Skin Peel pads. They come in two strengths and are amazing for keeping hormonal skin happy. I hope this is helpful!
