Skin care

I have really dry skin but nothing seems to work I need help !

I use prescription Retin-a so my skin can get REALLY dry....

I use prescription Retin-a so my skin can get REALLY dry. To combat this my dermatologist recommended I use CeraVe PM moisturizer. this is a drug store brand so at first I was a little hesitant. It is literally the best thing I have used. The moisturizer has niacinamide and ceramides. Both of these are vital to combat dry skin and anti aging. Another product that I use, especially in the winter, is pure hyaluronic acid. The best place to purchase HA is from timelessha.com where you can get it in pure form for less than $10.

RE: Skin care

I have super dry skin too, a lot of products have actually made my skin peel and flake off [insert vomit emoji]. But I started using The Algenist products and my skin has never been happier! I use the gentle rejuvenating cleanser ($25), hydrating essence toner ($25), and the regenerative anti-aging moisturizer (expensive) as skincare staples. Just a tip, when shopping for the moisturizer, I recommend shopping directly from The Algenist website. Sometimes they have really great savings, especially around holidays (sorry Sephora!) I just purchased those 3 items to start with and they completely transformed my skin, my first purchase was in Nov. 2015, I still get tons of skincare samples but I am so hooked on The Algenist that I really don't care for anything else. Now I'm using their masks and vitamin C serum, they're fantastic. Okay, wrapping up this rant.... Algenist rules!

RE: Skin care

Have you considered working an essence into your routine - using an essence 2xs a day with regular moisturizer will help dramatically - May Coop Raw Sauce is amazing. Also consider oil at night, like juno or lapis, it'll help you skin retain moisture. Or a sleeping mask for hydration.
