Skin brightening/lightening products

Hello, I would like to know can help brighten/lighten my body. I have hyperpigmentation in my knees, my elbows, bikini area and in the skin around my cuticles. Also, my arms are a few shades darker than the rest of my body. Is there any product (that isn’t like 200$) that can help me fix this ?

Re: Skin brightening/lightening products

Hi @catxx !

An AHA exfoliant can help. A few brands make one specifically marketed for body use (not just for the face), like REN CLEAN SKINCARE - AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum. Paula’s Choice also makes one. The REN product contains lactic acid (don’t know the % [EDIT: Sephora’s product page claims it’s 10% AHA] ), which is gentler than the 10% glycolic acid in the PC product. But both should be effective over time. I suppose you could also try using a facial AHA on other parts of your body, depending on their ingredients and your skin’s tolerance.

Re: Skin brightening/lightening products

Azelaic Acid is supposed to help with hyperpigmentation

The Ordinary Azelaic Acid 10% Suspension Brightening Cream 1 oz/ 30 mL

I think vitamin C products are also supposed to have a brightening effect so that could help

The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% 1 oz/ 30 mL
