Skin Texture

Hey there!

I've been working on my skincare more and wanted to fix some of the texture on my skin. It's mostly on my forehead and large pores on my cheeks. My current routine is:

cleanse - Murad Clarifying cleanser

Tone - Thayer's

Serum - Olehenricksen Truth serum

Eye cream - Shiseido eye cream

Moisturize - Garnier SkinActive daily moisturizer with SPF

cleanse 1 - Neutrogena cleansing oil

cleanse 2 - facial cleanser

tone - Thayer's

serum - Farmacy honeymoon glow AHA night serum

Eyes - Belif eye bomb

moisturize - drunk elephant protini + another moisturizer

I'm 24 with normal to dry skin. I'll add a face mask a couple times a week, either charcoal or serum sheet mask.

Re: Skin Texture

I would suggest adding an exfoliating cleanser into your routine 2-3x per week.  I like to use MURAD - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser.  Another thing that has helped with my skin's texture is finding an esthetician and getting facials/other treatments once a month or so.

RE: Skin Texture

@MadelenaM Hi. For texture, I am fan of Origins Rose Clay Retexturing Mask. For breakouts, Origins also makes a nice active charcoal mask. I would check out Dr. Roebuck’s AHA mask. All three are effective and are at reasonable price points.

Re: Skin Texture

Everyone's skin is different, so I'd recommend getting samples first if you have a sephora nearby to do that. But for me, Sunday Riley Power Couple Advanced Retinol and Lactic Acid Duomade a huge difference in my skin. I think Good Genes in particular really helped to smooth it out.

I also use La Roche Posay effaclar duo on breakouts and I think it helps.
