Skin Care Routine For Beginners.

I have no skin care routine whatsoever and I’m lost on where to begin. Any tips and best products I should use? P.S. I have somewhat oily skin and I don’t have a lot of pimples but I do have a lot of blackheads. Once in a while my forehead breaks out with a few pimples.

I say to start out get a simple face wash, a day moisturizer with spf, a night cream, and a eye cream.

Daily I wash my face and apply a good moisturizer. I exfoliate if my skin is beginning to flake or if it just feels like it needs a good clean. I have combo skin but it can get oily. For an exfoliator I have been using Ole Henriksen walnut scrub. I think it works well but it does kind of look like coffee grounds on your face and its hard to wash it all off! 😦

I would recommend Ole Henriksen Oil Control hydrator for a moisturizer. I like Ole's products for the most part. One drawback is they sometimes do not seep in the best but they feel and look great on my skin. Also the oil control hydrator helped clear some acne and it really does moisturize (I live in WI and we have had brutal winter temps this year!)

Some of my other Ole favorites are his invigorating night treatment - similar to the hydrator but a little more aggressive. I have heard it works nicely for acne scars. I would say it improves the overall look of my skin. After I finish my Ole 12 days kit I am going to try some origins face products. They smell great and the ones I have tried feel so natural - like Ole's products. I am not usually into strongly scented products so I tend to go for mild scents. I also want to try the fresh skincare line. First aid beauty is hit or miss w/ my skin but I have a small sample of their hydrating serum I am eager to try. Just some ideas, hope that helps ☺
