Simple and affordable face wash?

Hi!

im in search for a good, simple, and AFFORDABLE face wash! I’ve been a huge fan of purpose face wash (sold at Target), but unfortunately they’ve been discontinued. I’m more on the dryer/sensitive side and have been a big fan of fresh soy cleanser, but $38 for a face wash is breaking the bank for me.

Cerave hydrating face cleanser. It doesn’t lather as much as the fresh soy face cleanser but it gets the job done, isn’t stripping and is really inexpensive.

It’s still available! J&J sold Purpose under license from the manufacturer (Valeant). When Valeant was acquired by Bausch & Lomb, Purpose was bought back into the main brand and distributed by them. (Btw at the same time Valeant sold off Cerave to L’Oreal). You should now be able to get Purpose again from CVS/Duane Reade/Walmart etc.

@Toan I like the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser as well. I think IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser Hydrating Facial Cleanser Serum 5 oz/ 148 mL has a similar feel; it may even be more moisturizing. I'm also a fan of  First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser – Gentle Hydrating Cleanser 5 oz/ 150 mL  as a simple, gentle everyday wash for my dry, dry skin. Both feel truly cleansing without stripping, and both have a ~2 oz. version for $11-12.

@Toan I also have dry sensitive skin. I recently started looking into some cheaper alternatives to my usual Philosophy Purity Made Simple face cleanser. My favorite so far has been Pacificas coconut Milk Cream to Foam Face Wash Coconut! it's really great for my dry sensitive skin and it removes all my makeup and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. you can get it at either Target or Ulta.

the purpose gentle cleansing wash went on clearance at Targets a few weeks ago (bought out any in a 25 mi radius from me) and they haven’t been restocking. Doesn’t seem like Target will be carrying them anymore..and also Walmart. I’ve seen it online on CVS (not in stores) and Amazon but I’m worried Johnson and Johnson won’t be making it anymore.
