Rosacea

What is the best things to use? This is all new to me and I need help! Please!!

Re: Rosacea

@Anonymous  Subtype 1 rosacea here! If you haven't already, I would speak to a dermatologist and/or esthetician for recommendations. There are a lot of products out there that target redness but contain ingredients that can inflame rosacea further. For example, Dr. Jart Cicapair Color Correcting Treatment is super popular but contains alcohol, lavender oil, and rosemary oil that are major triggers for some people (myself included).

Generally, you'll want to avoid alcohol and fragrance in your skincare. Niacinamide, allantoin, panthenol, and chamomile are good ingredients to look for. The website Skincarisma is a great tool for analyzing product ingredient lists; it will tell you what's good/bad for dry, oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. I'm only so helpful with skincare because I use my esthetician's line, but one product I recommend over and over is EltaMD UV Clear Sunscreen.

Re: Rosacea

Honestly, since you are new to skincare, I would invest in a good Sunscreen and Vitamin C. Moisturizer wise, you can either buy a name brand or buy from a drugstore to figure out what kind of skin you have and then maybe purchase a moisturizer from Sephora. I like brands like Tatcha, Bioessence, First Aid Beauty and Kiehl’s. But I would recommend first figure out what you are trying to achieve and then decide what products to get. But I would highly recommend a GOOD sunscreen since that’s the most important part of your skincare routine. Hope this helps.

Re: Rosacea

You can never go wrong with Dr. Jart Cicapair to reduce redness in general. It comes in a variety of delivery methods, and here's the link...https://www.sephora.com/search?keyword=cicapair. Also, there are, as you no doubt know, dietary recommendations/foods and beverages to avoid. Sadly, red wine is one of them. Fear not, the world is filled with fabulous whites.
