Refrigerating skin care?

I recently found a small cosmetics fridge on sale. I put my face cream in it and tried it the next morning and it feels amazing! I started cooling down my prep spray and a couple other things, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to room temp face cream, it feels so much nicer going on! Anybody else try this? Or have other ideas on what to cool down??

RE: Refrigerating skin care?

You can refrigerate most products that are water based, but as it was said, you have to be careful not to change the consistency of the products. The effects are only soothing and depuffing...so if you’re looking for that, go for it Hahahaha

RE: Refrigerating skin care?

I won’t keep my foundation or anything other than creams etc in there for that reason, but I use my Mac prep and prime chilled and it feels SO refreshing. Highly recommend 😇

Re: Refrigerating skin care?

Yes!! I have one and I love keeping my face serums and clay masks in it. Something about a cold face mask is just so refreshing! You have to be a bit careful about which masks and serums you keep in it because it can change the consistency a bit and make them harder to use. I love keeping my HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil in a makeup fridge because it is an oily/liquid consistency. I wouldn't recommend keeping thicker serums like the GLOW RECIPE - Pineapple-C Brightening Serum in it because they get slightly chunky.. still perform great but just harder to use! Hope this helps give you some ideas!!
