I always get pimples and acne on my face and I have tried different products to get rid of them but they always come back. Any products have you tried that helps get rid of acne??

RE: Products the prevent acne?

Anything which has natural aloe Vera in it helped a when it comes to acne. You can buy the natural ones in the store or aloe Vera face washes, just ones that don't contain a lot of preservatives(that's not good)

RE: Products the prevent acne?

The causes of acne can be wide spread. It can be the consistency to which you're cleaning your face/removing makeup. It can be an allergic reaction to an ingredient. It can be your diet. It can be related to the way your body handles stress. Or even hormone levels. Until you're able to narrow down the cause of the breakouts which might require the help of a doctor or dermatologist I would just make sure you get set up with a good skincare routine. One geared towards sensitive or acne prone skin might be a good start. Kate Somerville eradicate cleanser is good if your skin in oily. But if your skin is dry or dehydrated [careful because dehydrated often appears to be oily] then I would recommend the murad time release acne cleanser. That one has salicylic acid encapsulated in hyaluronic acid so it's a hydrating cleanser but when acne is present the hyaluronic acid bursts and the salicylic acid treats the acne. A visit to a skincare consultant can set you up with a routine that's tailored to your skin type.

Acne comes from blocked pores. Physical exfoliating can be too aggressive and may spread bacteria. You want a product with a chemical exfoliant. AHAs exfoliate the surface (glycolic acid) BHAs exfoliate within the pore which is want you want to prevent acne (salicylic acid). Salicylic acid needs to stay on the skin for a time so it's best not to get a product that has it in a cleanser. A serum would be the best choice. I recommend Clinique turn around serum. Don't use their toner as it has alcohol which will cause you problems. A nice moisturizer is Clinique dramatically different gel ( not the cream). Remember- even high end makeup or sunscreens can block pores if you sleep in it or have it on when you sweat and work out. Use a very gentle cleanser like the consonant foaming cleanser. Use a makeup remover prior to, to get off your mascara. I've been to tons of dermatologists for my hormonal chin acne and this has helped me stay acne free for years! 😊

I used to have a problem with this. Not sure what type of acne you have. But everyday I would get new white heads all over my face. It would drive me insane. So I went out and bought all new wash clothes (one for each day of the week), and I started double cleansing. The first cleanse is always an oil based cleanse that really breaks down the makeup. Then for the second cleanse I use something more gentle so clean my skin. After a week of doing this my white head problem got so much better. Best of luck!
